Intel Officially Launches 7 New Sandy Bridge Processors

Intel has officially announced the availability of seven new LGA-1155 Sandy Bridge based processors. The new processors are part of Intel's Pentium and Core i series lineup. Following is the list of the newly launched Processors:

  • Intel Core i5 2310, 4C/4T, 6Mb Cache, 2.90Ghz, 95W TDP, HD 2000 IGP - $177.00
  • Intel Core i3 2105, 2C/4T, 3Mb Cache, 3.10Ghz, 65W TDP, HD 3000 IGP - $134.00
  • Intel Core i5 2405S, 4C/4T, 6Mb Cache, 2.50Ghz, 65W TDP, HD 2000 IGP - $205.00
  • Intel Pentium G840, 2C/2T, 3Mb Cache,  2.80Ghz, 65W TDP, HD IGP - $75.00
  • Intel Pentium G840, 2C/2T, 3Mb Cache, 2.90Ghz, 65W TDP, HD IGP - $86.00
  • Intel Pentium G620, 2C/2T, 3Mb Cache, 2.60Ghz, 65W TDP, HD IGP - $64.00
  • Intel Pentium G620T, 2C/2T, 3Mb Cache, 2.20Ghz, 35W TDP, HD IGP - $70.00

Hyper-Threading is only available in the G850 out of all CPU's and same goes for Turbo Boost 2.0 which is limited to only the Core i5 2405S out of all processors. Quick Sync transcoding and Clear Video HD HD decoding features are included in all processors. You can check out Source for more info:
