According to a post on X, the Intel BaseCamp will include various sessions and provide an insight on the following:
- Intel Client Graphics updates
- Intel Gaudi 3 AI accelerator
- Discover the Next Generation Intel Core Ultra Series 2 Mobile and Desktop Processors
The first one seems to be the highlight as it lists down Client graphics updates. We know that Intel's client graphics lineup mainly consists of its Arc family. Currently, the lineup is based on the first-gen Xe "Alchemist" architecture and there have been various products targeting gamers, professionals & visualization markets. We have heard rumors that Intel is expected to introduce its next-gen Arc Battlemage graphics cards by the end of 2024 so it looks like this event might just be our first taste of the next-gen lineup.

In addition to graphics updates, the event will also talk about Intel's next-gen Gaudi 3 AI accelerator which is expected to offer better performance per dollar versus the competition, making it a decent option for AI markets.
Lastly, Intel mentions that they will provide further updates for the next-generation Core Ultra Series 2 mobile and desktop CPUs. Intel has officially revealed the Core Ultra 200S lineup and it launches on the 24th of October so there might not be much in regards to desktop releases but the laptop "Core Ultra Series 2" is something to look forward to with Arrow Lake-HX and Arrow Lake-H CPUs offering great uplifts for laptop users.
The beginning of next year will see the introduction of next-gen GPUs from NVIDIA and AMD so we can see these being integrated in the latest laptop solutions from OEMs such as ASUS, MSI, Dell, etc.
We surely look forward to what Intel has in stock for us with their next-gen Arc Battlemage lineup. The Xe2 architecture has shown great promise on the Lunar Lake SoCs and we can expect similar gains for the desktop lineup over the existing Arc A-series family.
