Intel will be going big on the stage, and we expect multiple product stacks being introduced at the Computex event.
What to Expect From Intel Computex 2026 Presentation?
While Intel Core Ultra Series 2 may not have been able to push Intel out of its current state, Intel has promising plans in the coming months. With the release of Panther Lake, aka Core Ultra Series 3 processors, the company has been on fire, releasing newer variants of the chips to deliver solid computing power for a wide range of products, especially the mobile platform.
Panther Lake has been a huge success for Intel, and there is no doubt that its Xe3-based integrated graphics did an awesome job at delivering superior gaming performance compared to the existing mainstream AMD Zen 5 CPUs. That said, we are looking forward to Intel's presentation in Taipei, which is going to be held next week, where Intel is supposedly showcasing several of its new product lineups.
Intel Arc G3 Series and Gaming Handhelds
Intel officially revealed its Arc G3 series SKUs two days ago. These are special Panther Lake variants, meant for gaming handhelds. Intel has been struggling in the past with its Core Ultra series SKUs, as hardly any major vendor adopted its SoCs for their gaming handhelds except MSI. This time, it's different as multiple vendors have already shown interest and have prepared next-gen handhelds using Intel's Arc G3 Extreme chip.
Vendors such as MSI, OneXPlayer, and Acer have prepared their Arc G3 Extreme-based handhelds, and more are on the way. Through 14 core configurations and 12 Xe3 GPU cores, the Arc G3 Extreme is one of the most powerful SoCs on the planet, which is why it's taking a direct hit at the Ryzen Z2 Extreme by offering superior performance.
Intel Clearwater Forest Xeon 6+ Processors
For the server segment, Intel has confirmed that its Clearwater Forest Xeon 6+ CPUs have already entered mass production. So, it wouldn't be surprising for Intel to reveal it officially at the Computex event. Using its in-house 18A node, Clearwater Forest will target data center segments. According to the slides shared recently, Intel Xeon 6+ Clearwater Forest offers a combination of four different technologies: RibbonFET, Power Via, Foveros Direct3D, and EMIB 2.5D.
Compared to Xeon 6700E, Intel promised twice the core count of up to 288 Efficient cores, 17% higher IPC per core, over five times higher last-level cache, and many more improvements.
Next-Gen Nova Lake Processors
Intel hasn't been too vocal on Nova Lake, but we do know from the roadmap that Intel is planning to launch Nova Lake this year. This is the first-ever CPU lineup that brings a combination of two different architectures for its iGPU, mainly Xe3 and Xe3P. We have been reporting on the Nova Lake for months now, and we won't be surprised if Intel officially introduces Nova Lake at the event.
Nova Lake will be divided into several segments just like previous lineups, and we might see up to 52 cores on the flagship chip with up to 175W of TDP rating. We have a dedicated page on Nova Lake, which lists all the known details about the series.
Intel Wildcat Lake Laptops
Intel Wildcat Lake has already made its debut, but we haven't seen major OEMs adopting the Wildcat Lake SKUs for their laptops till now. So, expect vendors to deploy the entry-level SKUs in their lightweight and power-efficient offerings soon. Until now, we have kept seeing Wildcat Lake SKUs in benchmarks and Chinese laptops, offered for as low as $449. With Wildcat Lake, Intel seems to be directly challenging Apple's MacBook Neo laptop, and not just laptops, we are seeing some vendors using Wildcat Lake in their entry-level mini PCs.
