Intel Partners With 2K, Bundles Sid Meier’s Civilization VII With Core Ultra Series 2 & 14th Gen Core CPUs For A Limited Time

Intel & 2K are partnering with each other to offer an exclusive PC bundle, containing Sid Meier's Civilization VII for qualified CPU purchases.

Intel Builder Bundle Pairs Sid Meier's Civilization VII with Intel Core Ultra Series 2 & 14th Gen Core CPUs As Intel and 2K Join Hands

Intel is once again partnering with a game publisher to offer an upcoming triple-A title for free. In a new blog post, Intel announced a collaboration with 2K, a game publisher based in California, that is now offering a free digital copy of Sid Meier's Civilization VII to those who purchase qualifying Intel processors from either the Core Ultra Series 2 or 14th Gen Core lineup.

The game is set to launch officially on 11th February 2025 and anyone who purchases a Core Ultra Series 2 processor or 14th gen Intel Core processor starting today, will receive a digital copy of the game on the day of launch. The offer applies to both desktop and mobile processors regarding Core Ultra Series 2 aka Arrow Lake and Lunar Lake CPUs, but is only eligible for desktop SKUs when it comes to 14th gen Core processors.

It’s hard to come up with franchises in the PC gaming industry more iconic than Sid Meier’s Civilization, and Intel is thrilled to continue its years-long partnership with 2K Games and Firaxis on the series’ latest installment. Whether it’s a marathon session with friends or just ‘one more turn’ before logging off, gamers around the world can depend on Intel Core and Core Ultra processors to deliver the best Civilization experience on a PC.

Previously, Intel collaborated with Ubisoft and offered a free copy of Assassin's Creed Shadows with Intel Arc GPUs and select Core processors. That said, the new offer is now live on the Intel Builder Bundle and will remain active till 31st March 2025. The offer is applicable worldwide except in China and one has to buy the processors through the participating sellers Intel has listed on the website.

The game is developed by Firaxis Games and will be published by 2K. Having a price tag of $69, users who were planning to purchase any of the qualified Intel processors can get a free copy, starting today.
