TCL CSOT joins hands with multiple monitor manufacturers and showcases its latest HVA and HFS panels at the ChinaJoy event.
TCL CSOT Showcases HVA Black, HVA Fast, and HFS Shoot Display Technologies That Deliver Superior eSports Gaming Experience Than Conventional VA and IPS Panels
TCS CSOT (China Star Optoelectronics Technology) participated in the ChinaJoy 2025 event, where it unveiled its latest display lineup for enthusiast gamers. The company, which has been actively producing panels for major monitor manufacturers such as Samsung, Lenovo, Philips, AOC, ASUS, MSI etc., claims that it has been the number one manufacturer for eSports MNT display from 2022-2024 and every third eSports monitor uses TCL CSOT's panels.
The company is now expanding its display lineup by introducing three more variations of its proprietary panels. These are the HVA Fast, HVA Black, and HFS Shoot, all offering top-of-the-line features for eSports monitors. The HVA Fast is a VA panel that features a 1ms response time and is ideal for large monitors, measuring up to 57 inches in ultra-widescreen format and bringing up to a 1000R curvature. It's perfect for Triple-A titles where gamers need more immersion but also lower response time.
The HVA Black is specially crafted for the eSports gamers, which can allow monitors to reach up to 500Hz of high refresh rates. However, unlike the regular VA panel, its contrast ratio will be far better at 5000:1, bringing deeper blacks and richer visual quality. On the other hand, the HFS Shoot replaces the regular IPS panel, bringing the advantage of "Three-Highs". This means high refresh rate, high image quality, and high resolution support, which will be excellent for shooter games. This display will also support a one-click switch between 2D and 3D modes and will offer a Cylindrical Lens Naked-Eye 3D that eliminates the need for 3D glasses.
The Senior Executive at TCL CSOT, Li Shanyong, explains the company's philosophy and the product roadmap for eSports gaming displays, asserting that the enthusiast gamers need the capabilities of newer TCL displays. This is because TCL CSOT's latest HVA and HFS technologies bring deeper blacks, fast response time, and its upcoming Printed OLED panel will offer some excellent features like Low Blue Light, longer screen lifespan, higher pixel density, and real-time image adjustments.
At the moment, Samsung Dragon Knight Series is one of the first to adopt the latest eSports MNT technologies from TCL CSOT and has four different monitors in the series, bringing UHD and WUHD offerings with up to 40-inch in display size and up to 180Hz in refresh rate. We also recently saw Lenovo releasing a HVA-based 1440p gaming monitor, which can go as high as 300Hz, and more such brands are expected to deploy TCL CSOT's latest HVA and HFS panels.
