The new HTC phone was long anticipated by fans everywhere but no one knew that the anticipation was so great that it would cause the phone to be sold out on its first day, with over 200,000 units sold over the weekend alone i would call this a great launch of a phone. The previous records were held by the Palm Pre and Samsung Instinct, but these sales were rumored to have doubled or tripled those sales.
Cellular service provider and the company selling the HTC EVO 4G, Sprint was very impressed with the results and are in high hopes of them to continue.
