Mortal Kombat 1 marks the latest entry in the blood-soaked fighting series, and it looks to deliver a satisfying fresh dose of ultraviolence for longtime fans. In addition to a new tag-team mechanic that lets you pair a main character with a backup “Kameo” fighter, you can look forward to an epic all-new story, regular seasonal updates that will add new Invasion mode missions, and more.
Mortal Kombat 1’s new Invasion Mode tasks players forging through a series of simple board-game like maps and single-round fights. Interestingly, there’s also a puzzle element of sorts to mode – certain fights will present you with a “Klue” that hints at a hidden objective. Successfully complete said objective and a new pathway which usually lead to some sort of reward will open up on the map. So, here’s a list of all the Invasion mode fights with “Klues” and descriptions of what exactly they’re asking you to do…
Fengjiang Village
- Node: Damn Sand
- Klue: ESDORYT TEH DWLOR
- Solution: The klue is an anagram for "Destroy the World." This means you have to equip Cyrax as a Kameo character then execute his Fatality, which sees him blow up the world.
Sun Do Festival
- Node: Broken
- Klue: AMNISLTA4
- Solution: The klue is an anagram for "Talisman 4." This means you have to equip a talisman with 4 gem slots then proceed to use it at least 4 time during your fight.

- Node: Pure Chaos
- Klue: Toasty!!!
- Solution: This is an easy one. Choose Scorpion as your Kameo character then execute his Fatality.
Tarkatan Colony
- Node: Infected
- Klue: DADAERHT
- Solution: The Klue is an anagram for "Threaded." You'll want to be playing a Ashrah then execute her second unlockable Fatality (which happens to be called Threaded). You can find out how to unlock every character's second Fatality here.

- Klue: Flipping Out
- Solution: Flipping out refers to flipping your stance by pressing the left trigger button. Mash the button rapidly during the Fatality phase and you should log enough stance changes to open up the pathway.

- Klue: Another Test Subject
- Solution: Play as Shang Tsung then execute his second unlockable Fatality. Again, here's how to unlock ever character's second Fatality.

- Klue: Brutal Ways
- Solution: Finish the Fight with any Brutality. You’ll need to have defeated Invasion mode’s final boss and acquired the Nether Stone to take on this challenge.

- Klue: ERTECA AOSCH
- Solution: The Klue is an anagram for "Create Chaos." You'll want to be playing as Havik then execute his main Fatality. Of course, Havik needs to be unlocked before you can do this -- here's how to do that.

- Klue: NOMED RENNI
- Solution: The Klue is an anagram for "Inner Demon." You'll want to have Kameo character Sareena equipped then execute her Fatality.

- Solution: Hey, what something that quacks? A duck of course! So, duck 10 times during the match and you’re golden.

- Klue: Use the element that brings life
- Solution: The element that brings life is obviously water, and who's water-themed? Win the match with Rain then execute his Fatality.

- Solution: The Klue is an anagram for "Hat Trick." You'll want to equip the Kameo version of Kung Lao the execute his Fatality.
