Whenever you open an application, you will get standard permissions by default. However, if, for some reason, you wish to use an app with admin rights most of the time, then there is a way to make your life easier. In this tutorial, I will show you how to always open apps as administrator on Windows 11 systems.

Opening an app with elevated rights can be very useful. Every user should know this because sometimes programs may cause issues, and you may need to open them with admin rights to figure out issues. There are various ways that you can open an app with admin privileges; however, I will show you the easiest way to do it. Just follow the steps below:

Step-1: Locate the executable file of the app you wish to open as admin.

Step-2: Right-click on it and select Properties.

Step-3: Click on the Compatibility tab in the window that opens up.

Step-4: In the settings section, check the Run this program as an administrator

Step-5: Select Apply.

Step-6: Select OK.

After this, the next time you want to use the app with admin privileges, just click on the app, and it will open with admin rights.

If you want to stop an app from opening with admin rights, follow all the steps above but in step-4, uncheck the Run this program as an administrator box.
