The Weather app on iPhone has improved a lot over time, and while the app has been around for more than a decade, there is a chance that you bought your first-ever iPhone and you're still getting acquainted to how things work. If it's the Weather app you want to master and still figuring out certain things then let us help you out in one key area today - adding more cities and places to it.
It is actually a very straightforward and easy thing to do. Just pick up your iPhone and we will walk you through it all.
Tutorial
Step 1. Launch the Weather app from the Home Screen.
Step 2. On the bottom right hand corner of the display you'll see three lines - tap on them.
Step 3. You're now in a view where you can see all the cities and places for which the weather is available. Tap on the search bar at the top.
Step 4. Type in the name of the place you want to add.
Step 5. Tap on the name of the place once it is found.
Step 6. Now tap Add on the top right hand corner.
You can keep on adding cities like this until your desired list is achieved. If you want to remove anything from the list, just follow step 2, swipe left on the city name and tap on Delete.
With the recent iOS 15 update, the Weather app has improved a lot. You have more information on tap and everything is far more readable thanks to better use of graphics. Information such as humidity, sunset and sunrise times, UV index and more, is all available in clearly defined boxes once you scroll down into the details of a particular place in the app.
Since the app pulls in weather details from the Weather Channel, therefore you can expect it to be fairly accurate as well. But of course, you have the complete option to do away with the Weather app and download one of the many third-party apps available on the App Store, some of which are true eye candy pieces of software.
