When you first jump into Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, you will be joined by a group of adventurers while you try to find a temple in South America. To any and all fans of Indiana Jones and those who have watched Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, you may recognize this scene, as you are now playing it out in first person. You'll be trying to locate the Blood Temple so that you can get the Golden Idol. For the most part, the area is guided and very easy to get through, but there is a little bit of a puzzle once you're inside the Temple that may trip you up.

Completing The Golden Idol Adventure in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
As stated before, you're given instructions and basic guidance on the controls you'll need as you're traversing the rocky terrain. There will even be an item that you can find at a camp off to the side, where you can find a fun secret relating to Forrestall. There you can find a book to take. It's completely optional and doesn't really provide anything. Once you're inside the Temple, your first mission is to make sure to get past the trap that killed Forrestall. Indiana makes sure to state that you need to keep out of the light. To do so, you must crouch and hug the wall so that you don't get impaled in the same trap.
Once you're past this, you will need to use your whip to get over the big gap in the floor. Otherwise, you will fall to your death. Luckily, this is pretty easy, and you are given instructions on how to utilize your iconic whip for that. Now, you'll be in the hall of the Golden Idol, and of course, there is a trap.
On the floor in front of you, you'll see a hexagonal tile pattern on the floor, with some of the tiles having an indentation in them, which is where you will interact with it and insert your torch. If you interact with the wrong one, you will set off the traps, which will unleash poison darts that will kill you.
As you walk up the steps to the Golden Idol, there will be one more that you will have to put your torch into. Otherwise, you risk setting off all of the traps and dying as you grab the Idol.
However, once you've successfully done all of this, you'll then have to remove some sand from the bag to put in place of the Golden Idol to try and replicate the weight. Of course, this doesn't work, and the Temple begins to crumble, which is when you run for your life to escape.
