Google admits to blocking benchmark testing on the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro

Pixel Feature Drops are my favorite thing about Pixel phones, especially when you get access to so many great features without having to wait for major updates. Google has been making these drops for some time, and the best thing is that some excellent features have made their way to the supported devices.

Future Pixel Feature Drop will add a number of handful features to make the user-experience better and more seamless

The next Pixel Feature Drop is not that far, and today, we have our hands on a list that talks about all the potential features coming ot the the supported Pixel devices. Google makes sure that it keeps bringing in new features. Although the list itself is comprehensive, keep in mind that you might get new features as we get closer to the launch, or some features might be removed, considering how Google is notorious for this.

With the upcoming Pixel Feature Drop, Google has tweaked how the Bluetooth quick toggle will work in the Quick Settings menu. Once you tap the Bluetooth toggle, it will show a pop-up window that will let you switch between devices and will let you turn the connectivity on or off. You also have the option of "pair new device" in the new window, but if you tap on that option right now, it will take you to the full Bluetooth settings page. This is going to make the controls a lot simpler, and you will have a much better experience.

In addition to that, the new Pixel Feature drop will also bring a tweaked pop-up menu that shows up when you tap the Internet quick toggle. You also have a "share Wi-Fi" button on this window, and tapping the button will start showing the older "share Wi-Fi" page. These changes are minor, but it is safe to say that they are going to make the experience a lot better for everyone.

Another thing that will launch with the Pixel Feature Drop is that you are going to get Seamless Updates much faster. They won't need a lot of time, but it is worth noting that this change might be limited to just Pixel phones as a lot of other big names in Android do not really benefit from this technology.

Moving further, you can see in the screenshot above that there are several privacy-related tweaks in the Pixel Feature Drop that are going to make things better for a lot of users. You will get the chance to record a single app instead of the screen--this will completely keep your notifications and other information on your display away, and you will have much better peace of mind, especially when it comes to notifications.

Then, the latest Pixel Feature Drop will bring an option where you will be able to cast a single app through the system casting tool--this will prevent you from casting your entire phone. Again, this is a feature that will give you much better control over your device, and you will not really have many privacy-related issues.

With the upcoming Pixel Feature Drop, another benefit you are going to get is that when you tap the camera or the mic indicator on the device, it will deliver a different result. At the moment, tapping this indicator takes you to the full-screen privacy menu, where you can revoke the permissions. After the update, tapping these indicators will how a pop-up window, allowing you to close the app, as well as manage access to their permissions.

Although the list might look small, it is safe to say that there could be a lot more in the Pixel Feature Drop, and we will keep you posted once we get to know about what else comes to the devices.
