GUNNIR has unveiled its next-gen Intel Arc B580 graphics cards featuring custom designs and also a low-profile Arc A770 model.
GUNNIR showcases Intel Arc B580 Photon, Index, Tri editions, and some GPUs for the non-mainstream market as well, including a triple-fan B580 and low-profile A770 GPUs
One of the major Intel board partners for graphics cards, GUNNIR, isn't yet done with the Intel Arc B580 GPU, it was revealed recently. It is going to launch some more editions but more importantly, GPUs for non-mainstream markets, which makes them unavailable for gamers.
The company held a special event in China where several GUNNIR executives held presentations on the Intel Arc Battlemage GPUs. It was also attended by Intel's executives for China, and we got to see some new editions the companies had for the masses.
GUNNIR revealed its Intel Arc B580 Photon, Arc B580 Index, and Arc B580 TRI gaming GPUs at the event, which is scheduled to launch officially on 13th December alongside other Intel board partners.
If our guess is right, the Intel Arc B580 Photon is the GPU that was teased pre-launch, which is a triple-fan design, available in both black and white editions. This will be the flagship edition with the G21 chip and will cost 2249 and 2269 Yuan for the black and white editions respectively. This translates to US$310 for black and a few bucks higher for the white Photon GPU.
Then comes the Tri edition for 2149 Yuan for US$295 and the Arc B580 Index edition for 2049 Yuan or US$282. The GUNNIR Arc B580 GPUs will boast 1x HDMI 2.1 and 3x DisplayPort 2.1 ports. The Photon edition 12G is an OC edition, which will bring up to 2850 MHz of frequency and can draw up to 220W, which is 30W higher than the reference edition. The TRI edition will bring a TBP of 200W and 2740 MHz of frequency and the Index edition will be the slowest with 190W of TBP and a single 8-pin power connector.
Two more cards were showcased, including the GUNNIR Intel Arc B580 HLP 12GB and an Arc A770 HLP edition. While the cooling solutions deployed on both were different, both share a similar height, which is half the size of regular cards. However, none of these will be available for purchase for mainstream users and are aimed at power-efficient systems for industry applications.
The Arc A770 HLP will have a reduced TBP of 165W, down from 225W in the reference edition, and will measure 202 x 80 x 39 mm. It will be equipped with a single 8-pin power connector but will have all other specs retained, including 32 Xe cores and 16 GB GDDR6 memory.
According to GUNNIR, the flagship Photon models will retail at 2269 RMB for the White and 2249 RMB for the Black variant, the TRI model will retail at 2149 RMB, while the Arc B580 Index will be hitting retail for 2049 RMB. There's no word on the prices for the Arc B570 graphics card, but those will be hitting retail shelves in January so stay tuned for more.
