GTX 460 Specs and Release Date Revealed.

Nvidia has finally revealed the specs of it new upcoming GPU " Geforce GTX 460" which will compete with ATI's low -end HD 5800 and HD 5700 series graphic cards. The new card is based on the GF104 chip and the card will be Direct X 11 compliant.

The specifications of the card show that the GPU will make use of all the components available on the GF104. The card will have 240 CUDA cores and will have a 768mb GDDR5 memory across a 192-bit wide memory bandwidth. The card will have a very low TDP of 180w compared to the GTX 480. The card is said to be only 2-way SLI capable and will have all the other features like Physx, Cuda, Directx11, Direct Compute and 3D surround Vision. The card is expected to launch in Mid-July.
