Google has been working on the Pixel 9a for some time, and the mid-range model is expected to be officially unveiled at the Google I/O event in 2025. However, the device is making headlines way prior to its launch for the features expected to make it to the series. Leaks and speculations generally give away the Pixel series, and the upcoming phone is no exception, as much has surfaced online about the phone's internal components and other details. Now, another leak has emerged, giving you a comprehensive look at the Pixel 9a and the official cases meant to complement the phone.

Leak confirms the new design Google is opting for its Pixel 9a as the cases lack the elevated edges around the camera module

Google is increasingly focusing on bringing AI-powered features and vigorously working to evolve when it comes to its flagship series. Users are now hooked on the Pixel 9a, its mid-range phone that does not take a toll on their budget. While much has been revealed about the upcoming model, it seems that the rumor mill is still churning in full swing as a new leak focused on the official cases highlights the removal of a key design element in the upcoming device.

While the Pixel 9a generally mirrors the same design as the Pixel 9 series, there seems to be a design shift that is highlighted in previous leaks as well, and that is a sleeker look by not opting for a protruding camera module. It seems like Google is refining its made-range phones' design by sticking with the flagship models in general but adding a distinct element to the upcoming model. Now, the official cases for the model are out via Android Authority, and it seems that majorly the design remains the same, except for letting go of the raised edges around the camera.

The Google Pixel 9a cases seem to be designed with comfort and practicality in mind. The exterior features soft silicone that makes it comfortable to hold yet offers protection against scratches. The interior is made of microfiber, which is meant to prevent the phone from getting damaged. While the internal part of the case has a Pixel placed up, we can spot Google's "G" logo on the exterior end of the case.

The Pixel 9a cases are said to come in four colors: Peony (Pink), Obsidian (Black), Iris (Purple), and Porcelain (White). The mid-range phone is expected to be launched in March at the Google I/O event 2025, and more details will emerge as the launch date approaches.
