Google announces new Pixel Watch 2 with upgraded design and heaoth sensors and better performance

Following the likes of Apple and Samsung, Google has started to work on creating an ecosystem and is slowly catching up. This year, we could get a host of new Pixel products, including the Pixel Watch 3, and based on a new tip, there is a chance that the company will unveil this smartwatch in two different sizes. If this sounds familiar to you, it is because Samsung has been doing the same for some time now.

Google offering Pixel Watch 3 is a step in the right direction as users will have more freedom to choose from

According to sources in touch with 9to5Google, the Pixel Watch 3 is going to arrive in two different sizes, and the reason behind this is rather simple - the company wants to ensure that people who are looking for different watch sizes have an easier time selecting the right fit. Considering how smaller watches are slowly finding their way back to the mainstream, it makes a lot of sense for Google to actually go this way.

The original size will remain 41mm on the Pixel Watch 3, which I believe is still not as big as some of the other sizes that are available in the market. This leaves a question as to whether Google will go for a larger size or a smaller size. It does make sense to have two smartwatch sizes because that gives users a wider range of options, which is enough to make a difference.

Sadly, at the time of writing, there are not a lot of details about the Pixel Watch 3, but considering how the predecessor fixed a lot of the issues of the original one, we are hoping that Google is still serious about the feedback and we can finally get some decent improvements. Of course, going forward, we will keep you posted on all the information that comes our way. You can expect the new line of Pixel products to launch towards the end of the year.
