GMKtec To Launch EVO-T2 Mini PC On March 12; Up To Intel Core Ultra X9 388H And 128 GB Memory

The most powerful mini PC from GMKtec has arrived and it features a high-end and flagship Panther Lake CPU.

GMKtec To Debut EVO-T2 Mini PC, Featuring Configurations, Including Core Ultra X9 388H and Ultra X7 358H, Offering 180 AI TOPs of Power

A few days ago, GMKtec teased its "2nd gen" workstation AI Mini PC, which clearly indicated it's a Panther Lake-based system, as it is capable of 180 AI TOPS of performance. GMKtec has officially announced the specifications of its latest and most powerful mini PC called EVO-T2, which will launch tomorrow. The EVO T2 was previously showcased at CES when Intel launched the Panther Lake series.

GMKtec currently sells a lot of the latest Intel and AMD-based mini PCs, and with the introduction of Panther Lake-based systems, it is significantly superior in AI capabilities, as well as boasting a powerful integrated graphics that can run games without any discrete GPU. The EVO-T2 will feature either the Core Ultra X7 358H or the Core Ultra X9 388H processor, bringing a solid 16-core/16-thread configuration. These CPUs bring 12 Xe3-core integrated graphics called Arc B390 that alone bring up to 122 AI TOPS of power.

The EVO-T2 will be available in various memory configurations, and users can choose up to 128 GB of LPDDR5X memory. For storage, the mini PC supports up to 16 TB of capacity and brings both PCIe Gen 5.0 and 4.0 interfaces for the NVMe SSDs. EVO-T2 will bring powerful connectivity features as well, including dual LAN ports, including a 10G and a 2.5G LAN. It also brings an OCulink to add external graphics cards for demanding titles and for peripheral connectivity, it brings the latest USB4 ports, including support for 100W Power Delivery.

The mini PC is rated at up to 80W, but also offers a balanced mode that allows it to run at 45W. So, depending on the workload, users can switch between the high-performance and balance modes to save power. Pricing and availability shall be announced tomorrow.
