Gigabyte has finally launched a PCIe network expansion card, featuring support for the latest Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3 standards.

As the adoption of the Wi-Fi 7 standard grows, Gigabyte has joined the list of vendors offering the technology. The company has already showcased several motherboards such as the Z790 AORUS Xtreme X utilizing Wi-Fi 7, & has finally released a network expansion card utilizing the technology. The GC-WIFI7 features high-end capabilities and connectivity that make it the best option for users switching to the new Wi-Fi standard without any compromise in the overall performance.

Speaking of specifications, the GC-WIFI7 utilizes 320MHz bandwidth support across the 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz frequency bands. Through high bandwidth, the GC-WIFI7 can reach up to 5.8 Gbps transmission speeds.

Moreover, the card also features support for Multi-Link Operation (MLA), which allows it to connect to multiple bands at the same time, enabling devices to simultaneously send and receive data across different frequency bands and channels. For extensive network coverage, the GC-WIFI7 comes with a 2Tx2R antenna that is compatible with both directional and omnidirectional signals. The full features include:

The pricing of Gigabyte's GC-WIFI7 hasn't been revealed yet, however, it is retailing in Hong Kong for around HKD 600, hence you can expect it somewhere near the $100 range in the US.
