After the RTX 5090 AORUS Infinity, the company is reportedly preparing more Infinity models using lower-end RTX 50 cards.
EEC Reveals GIGABYTE is Quietly Making More AORUS Infinity Cards After RTX 5090 AORUS Infinity Edition
The GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 5090 AORUS Infinity gained a lot of attention due to its distinguished design that carried a beautiful and powerful WINDFORCE Hyperbust cooling system. The circular design made it look super cool, but its extraordinary cooling and construction made it appealing to the enthusiasts. The WINDFORCE Hyperboost cooling carried a double flow through design, which looks somewhat similar to the RTX 5090 Founders Edition, but it's an all-metal card, bringing a premium feel.
It appears that we may have more than just one Infinity card on the shelves. While not officially confirmed by GIGABYTE, the company has silently registered several new AORUS RTX 50 Series Infinity cards on EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission). Apart from the recently launched AORUS RTX 5090 Infinity, the company has registered several new RTX 50 Infinity cards in the same lineup, as can be seen in the listings.
These include cards such as GIGABYTE AORUS RTX 5080 Infinity, RTX 5070 Ti Infinity, RTX 5070 Infinity, RTX 5060 Ti Infinity (both 8 GB and 16 GB), and even the RTX 5060 Infinity. It will be interesting to see how these turn out with the premium construction, as budget and mid-range GPUs don't usually get the same attention as the RTX 5090. Most manufacturers are willing to make premium RTX 5080s and 5090s, but 70 and 60-class cards remain with basic coolers most of the time.
If GIGABYTE decides to go with its plan, as can be seen from the registration, then we could see one of the first metal-shroud RTX 5070s and 5060s, but the cost could be more than the regular editions we generally see on the shelves. Nonetheless, it will be great to have an attractive yet powerful cooler on more RTX 50 series cards that have been claimed to deliver superior air-pressure, superconducting heat pipes for superior cooling, and beautiful RGB Halo lights if GIGABYTE decides to retain the same design as the RTX 5090 Infinity.
