GAMEMAX Launches MAX PB Non-Modular PSUs in 550W-850W Capacities, Bringing ATX 3.1 Standards for Modern PC Builds

Popular hardware maker GAMEMAX has launched its brand new power supply units in the MAX-PB series. These power supplies are aimed at budget-tier PC builds, offering reliable operation for those who are running the latest hardware. The MAX PB series brings several units, offering up to 850W capacity to keep up with the demands of modern GPUs, thanks to Intel ATX 3.1 compliance.

MAX PB series power supplies are 80 Plus Bronze-rated and are designed to offer over 80% power efficiency during operation while generating less heat. These are non-modular, which means every cable is pre-attached, which is typically seen on most Bronze power supplies. However, the higher wattage power supply units in the MAX PB series offer the latest 12V-2x6 connectors to ensure latest-gen GPU compatibility.

Users looking to build entry-level and budget-tier PCs can choose from four different capacities: 550W, 650W, 750W, and 850W. Out of these four, two units: 750W and 850W are provided with 12V-2x6 connector cables to power RTX 50 series GPUs. For RTX 5070 and RTX 5070 Ti, these power supplies will offer adequate power, and since these are ATX 3.1-compliant, the units can offer support for up to 200% power excursions to maintain stable operation.

GAMEMAX claims that all these units utilize 100% All-Japanese capacitors from Rubycon, Nippon-Chemicon, and Nichicon, ensuring high durability and reliability for a long period of time. Moreover, each unit offers 8 protection features, including OPP, UVP, OTP, SCP, OCP, NLP, and SIP. However, we are seeing a regular 3-year warranty period on these PSUs, which is fine, but not exceptional.

GAMEMAX MAX PB Series Pricing:

  1. MAX P550B: $46.99
  2. MAX P650B: $49.99
  3. MAX P750B: $59.99
  4. MAX P850B: $64.99
