Samsung has just announced the Galaxy S24 Ultra and the one thing that caught my attention was the company talking about how the new flagship is going to offer Gorilla Glass Armor instead of the Victus that we are used to, but what even is Armor? The company has finally answered it, and it appears really good.
According to Samsung, the Corning Gorilla Glass Armor found on the Galaxy S24 Ultra is a combination of durability and visual clarity, and the company claims that it will actually deliver better visibility as well as durability.

The information revealed to us also talks about how the new Corning Gorilla Glass is a lot different than the glass that is normally used in smartphones. Compared to the standard glass that is available on almost all smartphones, the new Armor is going to be able to reduce reflections by up to 75%, which should make it an excellent display for those who are looking to use the phone in daylight.
In addition to that, the company also claims that the Gorilla Glass Armor increases the durability of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. In the lap tests, the new glass showed better durability when compared to other cover glasses. The company even put the phone through a rigorous scratch test, and the phone survived without any issues.
