The wait for the Galaxy S24 Ultra is almost over, as Samsung will be unveiling all three phones on January 17th, later this month. So far, we have received a lot of interesting information on the phones, and we do know that Samsung is going to combine the power of its hardware with AI and software to make the overall user experience even better.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra's 200-megapixel camera will have a lot of AI prowess hidden in the back
Now, a new tip has revealed some of the camera features of the upcoming Galaxy S24 Ultra. Prior to this, a lot of us were under the impression that Samsung was just going to use the same sensor found in the Galaxy S23 Ultra, but it turns out that with the help of AI, the company has made some improvements to the sensor, and not just that, the feature that you will be able to use on the new phone is rather impressive.

As you can see in the tweet above, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will be able to leverage Galaxy AI when it comes to zooming in. You will be able to zoom 5x while shooting in 8K and 10x in Single Take. You will also be able to shoot portraits using the 5x zoom, and the 50-megapixel camera will have 10x optical quality. Now, of course, all of this would mean nothing if the AI behind this is not up to the mark, but considering how Samsung is pretty confident about it this time around, we have a feeling that it is not just going to be great, but it will only keep improving with time as the AI keeps learning more.
We have talked about how AI will be the center stage in almost every tech product or service released in 2024, and it appears that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will be no different. I am really looking forward to seeing how the phone works. Instead of following Google's footsteps, where the company announced that there would be a bunch of AI-related features coming to the Pixel 8 series later, Samsung is doing its own thing and bringing all these features to the latest flagship phone right at the launch.
