A new Final Fantasy VII Rebirth mod now available for download introduces new content for the VR Simulator, giving players an easy way not only to challenge their skills but also to fight story bosses again without having to play through entire chapters again.

The VR Simulator Overhaul mod developed by NSK01 and now available for download from Nexus Mods overhauls the VR Simulator to introduce new challenging fights which also include, as mentioned, story bosses. As some of these battles can be very challenging, the creator of the mod suggests taking them on at Normal or Dynamic difficulty and without any mod that increases enemy HP or damage values to preserve balance. Together with the packed version, the modder also released an unpacked version to allow users to create their own challenges. Some of those included in the mod can be checked out in the videos below.

Since its release on PC earlier this year, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has been expanded considerably thanks to the dedication and the hard work of modders, who have implemented some highly requested features such as the ability to add characters not normally available to the party like Zack and Sephiroth, the ability to change character outfits and weapons dynamically, and even new playable characters like the Turks Rude and Reno.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is now available on PC and PlayStation 5 worldwide. You can learn more about the second entry in the Remake trilogy by checking out Kai's glowing review.
