A new Elden Ring patch is now live on PC and consoles, introducing some multiplayer improvements, balance changes, and bug fixes.

Patch 1.06 brings some welcome changes to multiplayer that will make it more enjoyable for most users, such as the ability to send summon signs to summoning pools in multiple areas, including distant ones. The patch also introduces a new feature that allows players to invade a larger area, including distant areas, and a new way to advance the White Mask Varre's questline by defeating a new NPC instead of taking part in a multiplayer invasion.
