CAPCOM has announced that the Dragon's Dogma 2 Deluxe Edition and several DLCs won't be available for purchase anymore starting on June 25, 2026, 12:00 AM (UTC). Moreover, the base game will receive a permanent discount, though the publisher didn't say how much.

As you might remember, there was a bit of a controversy at launch, as some of these premium items were perceived to be "pay to win", especially those that could be used to revive characters. Granted, all of them could also be acquired through regular gameplay, but that did not prevent CAPCOM from receiving a hefty dose of criticism.

The camping gear is pretty self-explanatory. As for the music DLC (priced at $2.99), it replaces some in-game music and sound effects with those from the original Dragon's Dogma.

Of course, this is all done in preparation for Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, due on October 9 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S and X, and Nintendo Switch 2. CAPCOM has already released a free quality-of-life update, with another set to drop sometime in August.
