Digital Storm Intros Vector and Aventum 5 Gaming Desktops With Up To RTX PRO 6000 and Flagship AMD and Intel CPUs
There is no debate that modern hardware has grown into power-hungry behemoths, which don't just consume large amounts of power, but are also drastically bigger. We have seen RTX GPUs becoming bigger and more power-hungrier than ever, and a similar story follows modern high-end CPUs. To accommodate large GPUs, PSUs, and CPU coolers, companies usually release big PC cases, but Digital Storm has other plans.
At CES, the company has unveiled two of its newest high-end and "innovative" gaming desktops that aim to reduce the overall footprint of the system and deliver superior thermal performance out of the box. Digital Storm Vector looks a pretty interesting desktop that uses a compact chassis measuring 473 x 335 x 99 mm, making it significantly narrower than most towers. Despite that, the Vector can accommodate high-end GPUs with up to NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPU to deliver incredibly high compute performance, and will be coupled with either AMD Ryzen 9 9950X or the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K.
We can see that the desktop is incredibly thin compared to regular cases and accommodates the GPU at the top, while the motherboard, AIO, and other stuff sit at the bottom. Cramming such big hardware into a small chassis is a big challenge, considering the thermal performance limitations it brings to the table. Digital Storm says that the Vector can easily manage the heat, airflow, and noise despite such a configuration, which would be an incredible feat for such a compact system.
However, those who crave uncompromisable performance can look forward to the Aventum 5, a larger desktop rig that uses modern hardware but deploys an enthusiast-grade custom-liquid cooling solution for quick heat dissipation. From the pic, it's clear that this rig isn't just targeted at enthusiast-grade gaming performance, but also for professionals who want to leverage the prowess of multi-GPU setups. The Aventum 5 is reportedly bringing a large display on the chassis itself, allowing real-time hardware monitoring or custom visuals.
Both cases are expected to be available in various configurations on the website and will start hitting the retail stores in Q2 2026.
