Last month the nominations for the annual DICE (Design Innovate Communicate Entertain) Awards were announced, with God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man, and Red Dead Redemption 2 leading the way. The DICE Awards, which are organized by the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences, are somewhat unique amongst gaming awards, as they reflect what the gaming industry, rather than critics or fans, think he best games of the year are.

Well, the DICE Awards were officially handed out last night, and God of War cleaned up, taking home a whopping nine awards. Only one other game, indie platformer Celeste, picked up more than one award. Meanwhile, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Spider-Man only nabbed one trophy apiece.
