Dead Space Remake Video Shows Off Isaac’s New Face and Details the Game’s Rewritten Script

The upcoming Dead Space remake is staying largely true to the original, but as detailed in a new IGN First featurette, not everything about this new take on the story will be familiar, as the script has been rewritten. This is largely because protagonist Isaac Clarke now speaks, but the folks at Montreal’s Motive Studio have also expanded some aspects of the story. For instance, we learn more about the Church of Unitology this time around and your crewmate Chen, who is quickly killed off in the original game, will now play a bigger role as you see him transform into a necromorph.
