The new DDR5 memory modules will be actively cooled by a dedicated fan, ensuring lower temperatures under heavy workloads.
Cooler Master and G.Skill Announce Actively Cooled DDR5 Memory Module, Bringing Integrated Fan for Next-Generation Systems
If regular heatsinks weren't sufficient for you, then you should take a look at what Cooler Master and G.Skill brought to the table. Unlike conventional DDR5 modules, these companies worked on an actively-cooled DDR5 DIMM module to bring superior cooling inside the rig. As announced recently, Cooler Master and G.Skill collaborated with each other to bring active memory cooling to MasterDIMM AC.
It’s official. Cooler Master and G.SKILL are teaming up to bring active cooling to DDR5 memory with the new MasterDimm. Built for next-generation systems that run faster, push harder, and demand stability under heavy workloads. Because cooling should not stop at your CPU or GPU. Stay tuned as we bring more Computex 2026 experiences online.
- Cooler Master
MasterDIMM AC is the new DDR5 memory series, which uses a G.Skill-developed RAM module and a Cooler Master-developed heatsink. Unlike conventional memories, the MasterDIMM AC brings a thick cooler that has a small built-in fan on one side to actively cool the memory components. The MasterDIMM AC is aimed at next-gen DDR5 memory platforms, offering speed of up to 6000 MT/s at just CL26 through AMD EXPO and up to 8400 MT/s using Intel XMP 3.0.
That's right! We've teamed up with @CoolerMaster to bring active memory cooling to DDR5 memory with the new Cooler Master MasterDimm. Featuring high-performance DDR5 memory with kits offered in either Intel XMP 3.0 or AMD EXPO profiles and integrated active cooling, MasterDimm is built for next-generation systems that push higher frequencies, lower latencies, and sustained stability under demanding workloads. Because next-level performance deserves next-level cooling.
- G.Skill
According to the press release, the MasterDIMM AC active cooling can provide up to -15 degrees Celcius thermal improvement and a quiet operation with 35 dB of maximum noise. MasterDIMM AC will be showcased at the Computex 2026 event, and we will get to know more about the new DDR5 memory, including availability and pricing.
