We posted a guide about rooting Galaxy S4 Google Edition's ROM on standard Samsung Galaxy S4 to upgrade it to the latest Android 4.3. But the users who updated to this leaked build lost their device root in the process. Chainfire's Auto Root comes to the rescue - yet again.

Chainfire has released the SuperSU-JWR66N-S005-130625, the first tool to root Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Though It’s still in experimental stage, but works well for Galaxy S4 leaked ROM. This root tool brings fully functional SuperSU power to the Galaxy S4 with Android 4.3. As the developer comments:

This experimental version of SuperSU especially for this specific firmware leak. In theory it should also work on those protected engineering firmwares from Samsung that have gone around lately, but I have not tested it on any of those. Let’s keep it to the leaked S4 4.3 firmware for the first test, shall we ?
