World of Warcraft, the worlds most well known MMORPG made a new record when their 3rd expansion pack called "Cataclysm" broke sales records everywhere by selling 4.7 million copies in its first month of release, With the addition of Worgen, Goblins, remapped cities, new dungeons and quests and a level cap raised to level 85 Blizzard has really broken the ice with this record.
According to 1UP the game sold 3.3 Million copies on its release date alone!! and the remaining 1.4 million copies sold out the rest of the month which is an amazing feat :O, PC gaming is certainly alive and kicking thanks to World of Warcraft!!
