Call of Duty Infinite Warfare Windows Store Doesn’t Support Crossplay With Steam; Graphics Settings Revealed

Call of Duty Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered are now available for purchase on PC and consoles, but those thinking about getting the game on PC would do well in avoiding getting the Windows Store version if they're planning to invest time in the game's multiplayer mode.

The Activision Support website has recently confirmed that the Windows Store releases of Call of Duty Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty Modern Warfare remastered don't support any kind crossplay not only with the Xbox One versions but also with the Steam ones, meaning that the player base will be extremely small.

Is Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered an Xbox Play Anywhere title?
No, these titles are not under the Play Anywhere program. If you purchase for Windows 10 on Windows Store, you will only be able to play on your PC. If you purchase on Xbox One, you will only be able to play on your Xbox One console.

Can I play Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered for Windows 10 on Windows Store with my friends that are playing on another PC platform?
No, you can only play these titles with other users of Windows 10 on Windows Store.

With the game now out on PC, details on the graphics options have also emerged online. In Call of Duty Infinite Warfare, players will be able to tweak Texture resolution, Shadow map resolution, Shadow caster levels, Particle Lighting, Tessellation and Level of Detail, enable and disable Volumetric Lighting, Ambient Occlusion, Bullet Impact, Film Grain and more. The game also features a FOV slider option.

Call of Duty Infinite Warfare is now available in all regions on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
