During the Road to Launch event, developer Rebel Wolves unveiled detailed PC specifications for their debut game, the highly anticipated fantasy open world action RPG The Blood of Dawnwalker.

The specs look fairly demanding on paper: the GeForce RTX 5090, the most powerful graphics card on the market, is required to play the game at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second while using the Ultra preset. However, the developers clarified that the following target resolution, frame rate, and presets were calculated without taking into account upscaler and frame generation, which will be supported (including NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR). As such, as long as you're willing to use the now-ubiquitous upscalers and frame generation tools, your GPU will punch way above the below targets.

As a reminder, The Blood of Dawnwalker is powered by Epic's Unreal Engine 5, just like the upcoming The Witcher IV game. Rebel Wolves did not share whether there are any specific rendering enhancements, such as ray tracing, nor did they provide any info on the console versions. Those will likely come later to launch, which is now set for September 3, 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S and X.
