Biwin has an SSD for everyone, from handhelds to high-end PCs, but their memory division is dialing up a notch with ROG-Certified DDR5 modules.

Biwin Comes Prepared For Gaming Handhelds & Compact Devices With Upgraded Mini SSDs

For Computex, Biwin is introducing its latest Mini SSDs. The first of these includes the CL100, which is a cost-optimized PCIe 4.0 solution that is compliant with the NVMe 1.4 standard. The SSD comes in 512 GB, 1 TB, and goes up to 2 TB of storage capacity, making it a top-value choice for gaming handhelds. The SSD offers speeds of up to 3700 MB/s Read and 3400 MB/s Write and is backed by a 3-year warranty.

Biwin also offers the BL130, which is a sub-3.5W design with the same densities and speeds. This SSD has a rated IOPS of up to 850K Read and 800K Write. The company used a OneXPlayer handheld to demo the SSD's potential.

Moving over to the standard PC SSDs, Biwin is introducing its M560, which is a PCIe 5.0-compliant storage device. This SSD comes in the standard 2280 form factor and features two capacities: 1 TB and 2 TB. The speeds are rated at up to 11 GB/s (Read) and 10 GB/s (Write), and the product is backed by a full 5-Year warranty. Biwin is making use of the SMI (6nm) controller, which leads to lower temperatures, lower power, and also comes in a DRAM-less design.

Memory is another major component for Biwin, and here, they are offering the JEDEC-compliant RU200 series, which comes in UDIMM and SODIMM form factors. The UDIMMs start at 8 GB and go up to 32 GB capacities with 4800/5600 MT/s speeds (CL40/46 @ 1.1V), and the SO-DIMM also matches the same specs. The only difference is that the UDIMMs are optimized for desktops, and SO-DIMMs apply to the mobile ecosystem, such as laptops and Mini PCs.

But that's not all, besides the super-fast DDR5 memory solutions offered by Biwin under its gaming brand, Origin Code, the company is also offering its first ROG Certified DDR5 memory kit under the primary Biwin branding.

The Biwin DW100 DDR5-RGB is a 32 GB kit featuring two 16 GB modules, with speeds of up to 6000 MT/s, which are compliant with Intel XMP and AMD EXPO standards, and when running on ROG motherboards, you can get a neat little performance boost, which sounds awesome. The modules feature a large white-colored heatspreader, which looks great, and the RGB LEDs make it even better. Expect more info on the pricing and availability soon.
