The monitor delivers sharp visuals, high peak brightness, and excellent color reproduction for gaming and professional work. The Tandem OLED uses a four-layer technology that helps the monitor achieve 15% better peak brightness than its predecessor, up to 25% increase in color volume, and nearly 60% increased lifespan.

The ROG Strix OLED XG32UQWMS can hit up to a good 1500 nits of peak brightness, and thanks to the DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification, it can deliver vivid visuals. As far as color reproduction is concerned, it brings a good 99.5% DCI-P3 color gamut for vibrant images and an excellent color accuracy of Delta E < 2 for professional work.

XG32UQWMS uses TrueBlack Glossy anti-reflective zero-haze optical coating, offers support for Smart Pixel intelligent super-resolution, and anti-flicker technology to reduce eye-strain. For connectivity, the monitor offers DisplayPort 1.4 and dual HDMI 2.1 ports, which should be sufficient for both 4K@240Hz and FHD@480Hz modes. Apart from these, it is equipped with a small USB hub for peripherals and a single 3.5mm audio jack for headphones.

ASUS has launched the ROG Strix OLED XG32UQWMS monitor at JD.com at a price tag of 5,999 Yuan, which translates to around US$882.
