ASUS Launches TUF Gaming 7X Desktop, Powered by Core Ultra 275HX-RTX 5060 Ti Combo; Delivers Liquid Cooling for the CPU

Popular hardware maker ASUS has launched its latest gaming desktop called TUF Gaming 7X in China, featuring a newer configuration and a much larger chassis than the existing TUF Gaming desktops. Usually, TUF Gaming desktops utilize a compact 15-liter chassis to ensure a smaller footprint without sacrificing performance, but this time, ASUS went with a much larger chassis to ensure easier upgradeability.

As reported by @realVictor_M, the TUF Gaming 7X uses a large 47-liter mid-tower chassis that can easily fit large-sized components inside it. As you can see from the pics, the new TUF Gaming 7X desktop looks a bit different from the existing TUF Gaming system, the TUF Gaming T500. Apart from a much larger case, the PC uses 240mm or 280mm liquid cooling, replacing the custom thermal pipe solution used in T500, which enhances CPU performance and gives the user enough headroom for overclocking.

The TUF Gaming 7X uses a fully transparent side panel that shows the installed components, including an ATX motherboard, dual RAM sticks, and a GPU. The configuration includes the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, which is a high-end mobile CPU from the Arrow Lake-HX family. It's paired with the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics card, although the marketing material says "RTX 5060". No information has been given regarding the RAM and storage capacity.

For connectivity, there isn't much at the rear I/O, and users will find 6x USB ports, including 4x USB 3.2 and 2x USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI 2.1b and DP 1.4 port on the motherboard, an RJ45 LAN port, and a couple of ports through the discrete GPU. On the top of the chassis, users will find a single Type-C port and 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports for peripheral connectivity.

We can't find any information about the power supply, but hopefully, it delivers a bigger PSU capacity than the T500, which uses a 330W or 500W unit. Overall, this is a big change in the TUF Gaming desktop series, as users can easily upgrade to a bigger and more powerful GPU apart from deploying a cooler of their choice without worrying about compatibility. The TUF Gaming 7X desktop is currently priced at 12,399 Yuan or US$1830, but with a 600 Yuan coupon, users can buy the desktop at just 11,799 Yuan or US$1742.
