ASUS Displays X79 based ROG Rampage IV Extreme Motherboard at BlizzCon 2011

ASUS showed a Sneak Peak of its latest X79 based Motherboard which would fall under the ROG "Republic of Gamers" line of products. The ROG Rampage IV Extreme motherboard was spotted at ASUS ROG's booth at this year's BlizzCon 2011 event.

No details were given away since the Sandy Bridge-E and X79 chipset are still under NDA, But the booth guy did tell that the rig was running on a Sandy bridge-E based Core i7 Processors which are supported by the LGA 2011 Socket featured on the ROG motherboard.

When Released, ROG Rampage IV Extreme would be ASUS's flagship offering for the ROG line of motherboard based on the X79 chipset. The motherboard was also pictured a while back as you can see below:

It comes with Eight DDR3 DIMM slots (Four on each sides of the board) and 7 total PCI-e x16 3.0 slots. Storage can be seen to include 2 SATA 6Gbps and Four Sata 3Gbps. Do watch the video below:
