The new campaign allows ASRock motherboard owners to get an additional year in warranty if they get their motherboards registered within the deadline.
ASRock Offers 2+1 Years of Warranty on Intel and AMD 800-Series Motherboards With Fan Club Registration (Applicable to Japanese Residents Only)
Popular hardware maker, ASRock, has started a limited-time campaign, offering an extended warranty period for its motherboard lineups. As stated in the press release on the ASRock Japan website, the company is offering an additional year of warranty on its 800-series motherboards, giving its customers 2+1 years of total warranty period instead of just two years.
If you purchase eligible ASRock Intel Z890/B860 and AMD X870/B850 series motherboards and register them without any defects within the campaign period from the "Product Registration" within the ASRock fan club, the manufacturer's warranty, which is normally 2 years, will be extended to 3 years. The campaign is only for 800-series motherboards, but includes most Intel and AMD models, including Z890, B860, X870, and B850 series (B840 isn't included). There are a few conditions for being eligible to register for the extended warranty campaign, but the date of purchase isn't one of them. So, irrespective of the date of purchase, users can gain an additional year in warranty, provided they register their product within this time period: 29th September-31st December, 2025.
The other condition is to register on the ASRock Fan Club, and then by choosing the Click My Page > Product Registration, users can add their motherboard model. As mentioned in the footnotes, this campaign only applies to products "distributed by authorized domestic distributors". This means only those users who have bought the 800-series motherboards through a Japanese distribution will be eligible for the extended warranty program.
Eligibility Conditions for Three-Year Warranty:
- Registration must be done within this time period: September 29, 2025 - December 31, 2025
- Customers must register on the ASRock Fan Club site
- The same serial number cannot be registered
- Product must be purchased through authorized Japanese domestic distributors
