AppleCare One subscription service announcd that covers multiple devices

Apple has announced AppleCare One, a subscription-based protection plan designed to make it easier and more affordable to keep your multiple devices covered. What this means is that you will no longer have to juggle between separate AppleCare+ plans for each Apple product. Instead, you can cover up to three devices under a single plan starting at $19.99 per month. You also have the option to add more devices for an additional $5.99 per month each.

Protect all your Apple devices with one affordable plan that covers repairs, theft, loss, and battery replacements

The extended feature is pretty neat; it combines all the benefits of AppleCare+ in a single package, which includes unlimited accidental damage repairs, 24/7 priority support from Apple experts, and battery replacements when battery health drops below 80 percent. Apple has also expanded its Theft and Loss coverage, which was previously only available for the iPhone. You can now add the iPad and Apple Watch to the Theft and Loss coverage, giving you more freedom to carry your devices anywhere you go. All of these extended features make AppleCare One a much more appealing option for users who own multiple devices and are well-versed in the Apple ecosystem.

Unlike the older AppleCare+ plans, which required you to sign up within 60 days of buying the device, AppleCare One gives you the option to enroll products that are up to four years old. However, they must be associated with your Apple ID and pass a quick diagnostic check. You also have the flexibility to move your devices in and out of the plan at will. This is a particularly important feature of the plan, as it essentially lets you add and remove devices that you actually use. If you trade in a covered device with Apple, the protection plan will be transferred automatically to your replacement, eliminating unnecessary hassle.

Currently, AppleCare One will be launched in the United States on July 24, 2025, and customers can sign up through their iPhone, iPad, or Mac. You can also visit your nearest Apple Store to enroll in the plan and set up your device. Apple’s shift toward an all-in-one subscription simplifies device management and offers savings over buying dedicated plans for each device. We will share more details on AppleCare One, so be sure to keep an eye out.
