Today, Apple has seen fit to release iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and macOS Tahoe beta 5 to developers for testing purposes and extended bug curation. The latest betas arrive a few weeks after the fourth version was seeded to developers. You can simply download the latest builds on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac right now for free through the Settings app. Other than this, Apple has also released a handful of additional beta updates for visionOS 26, watchOS 26, tvOS 26, and more, so be sure to check that out as well.
Apple rolls out beta 5 of its major OS updates, giving developers access to fresh features, visual refinements, and enhanced productivity tools across iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Starting off with iOS 26, Apple has made beta 5 available to developers, which can be downloaded on all compatible iPhone models right now. All you have to do is head over to the Settings app and navigate to General > Software Updates > Beta Updates and follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the beta. The process for installing iPadOS 26 on your supported iPad is the same, so there is no need to be alarmed. Before you do so, make sure that your Apple ID is connected to your Developer Account so that you can receive the update over the air.
Apart from iOS 26 and iPadOS 26, you now also have the option to download macOS 26 Tahoe on your Mac. Simply head over to the Software Update section in System Settings to download the latest version. Again, make sure that your Apple ID is linked to your Developer Account to receive the update over the air.
iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 updates are quite significant when it comes to visual design changes and the new feature set. iPadOS 26 specifically introduces a plethora of productivity-focused upgrades, which include a new windowing system and a Mac-like Menu Bar at the top.
