After fixing an overheating bug in the new iPhone 15 Pro models, Apple has now released iOS 17.1, iPadOS 17.1, watchOS 10.1, and macOS 14,1 beta 1 to developers. If you are a developer, you can now download and install the latest updates on your compatible devices. Besides this, Apple has also released iOS 16.7.1 for all iPhone models that are incompatible with the iOS 17 update.
Apple has released beta 3 of iOS 17.1, iPadOS 17.1, watchOS 10.1, and macOS Sonoma 14.1 to developers
If you are a developer, you can download and install the latest iOS 17.1 and iPadOS 17.1 beta 3 on your iPhone and iPad from the Settings app. All you have to do is head over to Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates and install the latest iOS 17.1 beta update on your iPhone. Make sure that your Apple ID is linked to your Developer account to install the latest beta builds.
Other than iOS 17.1, Apple has released watchOS 10 beta 3 to developers as well. Apple Watch users are still struggling with bugs that are hindering their daily activities. Possibly, the forthcoming update will fix the issues. To install watchOS 10.1 beta 3 on your Apple Watch, simply head over to the dedicated Apple Watch app on your iPhone, navigate to General > Software Update> Beta Update, and install watchOS 10.1 beta 3. Make sure that your Apple Watch has over 50 percent of the battery and is plugged into a power source. The wearable should also be in the range of your iPhone.
Apple has also released macOS Sonoma 14.1 beta 3 alongside iOS 17.1. Similar to iOS 17 and watchOS 10, make sure that your Apple ID is linked to your developer account before you install the latest beta. If you are eligible, the latest beta build will be available to you through the Software Update section in the System Settings app. Simply toggle on the Sonoma Developer Beta option under the Beta tab.
Apple has also released iOS 16.7.1 for all older devices. The update brings security enhancements to the table alongside performance optimizations. You can install the latest update through the Settings app on your iPhone. Head over to General > Software Update and install the update.
