Today, Apple has finally released its latest iOS 26.0.1 update for the iPhone with some pretty necessary bug fixes and performance enhancements. You can download the latest build right now on your compatible iPhone through the Settings app.
The new iOS 26.0.1 update addresses Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular, and camera glitches on iPhone 17, iPhone Air, and iPhone 17 Pro
As mentioned, Apple’s latest iOS 26.0.1 update has been released for the iPhone two weeks after iOS 26 was made public. Today marks the first update that Apple has released to fix the underlying bugs and issues in the latest and older models of the iPhone.
The update is quite important as it brings fixes for a wide range of issues, including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth problems that users have been experiencing since the release of the original build. It also addresses cellular issues. Moreover, iOS 26.0.1 fixes a major camera glitch where images were showing strange lines. You can check out the changelog below for more details on the fixes:
- Wi-Fi and Bluetooth may occasionally disconnect on iPhone 17, iPhone Air, and iPhone 17 Pro models
- A small number of iPhone users may be unable to connect to a cellular network after updating to iOS 26
- Photos taken under certain lighting conditions with iPhone 17, iPhone Air, and iPhone 17 Pro models may include unexpected artifacts
- App icons may appear blank after adding a custom tint
- VoiceOver may become disabled for some users after updating to iOS 26
To install the latest update, all you have to do is launch the Settings app on your iPhone and head over to General > Software Update, then follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the latest iOS 26.0.1 update. Since this is not a beta build, you are not required to connect your Apple ID to your Developer Account.
Apple’s major iOS 26 build included a handful of issues, and we are glad that the company has taken note of all of them and released fixes.
