Apple Officially Kicks Off Pre-Orders For The iPhone 17, Starting From $799 In The U.S.

iPhone 17 pre-orders have started

It took just three days after the official announcement of the iPhone 17, iPhone Air, the iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max for Apple to kick off pre-orders, with the company maintaining prices for the base model despite the Trump tariffs doing their rounds. Unfortunately, customers will have to pay more for the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max this year, as the firm’s top-end lineup starts from $1,099, marking a $100 increase from the $999 figure that Apple has retained for years.

For 2025, the iPhone Air has replaced the ‘Plus’ variant, and it appears that the ultra-sleek flagship has carved a place in Apple’s lineup, unless, of course, the company decides to have a change of heart a few years down the road. As for the ‘Pro’ models, these have received some impressive hardware changes, not to mention a shift from titanium alloy to aluminum to transfer heat more effectively. As for the detailed pricing and colors, we have compiled the list for you below.

In terms of ‘price to performance,’ the iPhone 17 will undoubtedly take this crown, and we should not be surprised that there will more customers lined up for this version. The iPhone Air is designed for customers who have a preference for aesthetics slightly more than functionality, while the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max cater to those who will not settle other than daily driving the best.

Apart from Apple’s flagship smartphone series, the company’s online retail partner Amazon is already taking pre-orders for the AirPods Pro 3, Apple Watch Ultra 3, Apple Watch Series 11 and the Apple Watch SE 3, so if you wish to skip an iPhone 17 purchase for this year, you can turn your attention to the aforementioned devices.
