In what constitutes a veritable bargain, Apple has just announced a host of AI-driven features for its suite of creator apps and software, all bundled within a single package that you can buy for $13 per month or $129 per year.
Apple Creator Studio unlocks a host of AI-powered features for Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and Freeform
As per Apple's announcement today, you get the following features and products with the new Apple Creator Studio subscription:
Pixelmator Pro
- The Pixelmator Pro app is now coming to the iPad, replete with a touch-optimized interface, full Apple Pencil support, the ability to seamlessly port over your work from the iPad to the Mac and vice versa, and access to Apple silicon-powered machine learning tools such as Super Resolution for image upscaling and Warp for manipulating image layers.
Final Cut Pro
- Final Cut Pro will now sport a number of AI-driven features, including the ability to search for a specific soundbite via Transcript Search, find specific clips based on objects or actions shown on the screen via Visual Search, a new music Beat Detection tool, and a new Montage Maker tool that leverages AI to analyze footage and then assembles a dynamic video that is synced to your music by using intelligent reframing and Auto Crop for vertical formats.
Logic Pro
- With Logic Pro you now get a new Synth Player that generates electronic music performance, a new Chord ID feature that generates a chord track after analyzing audio or MIDI recordings, and additional tools - such as Quick Swipe Comping and the new Music Understanding - for natural language searches within the Sound Browser.
Motion
- Apple Creator Studio unlocks a number of features within the Motion app, including Magnetic Mask for isolating and tracking subjects, Compressor for enhanced output customization and distribution workflows, and MainStage that enables live performance setups that mirror studio-quality sounds.
Pages, Numbers, Keynote, and Freeform
- Pages, Numbers, and Keynote gain the Liquid Glass UI as well as access to a new Content Hub with curated graphics and photos. Keynote also gains access to generative AI models from OpenAI, allowing users to create and transform images from text descriptions. Freeform is set to receive additional features later in 2026.
Of course, Apple's use of OpenAI models within Keynote is an aberration given its recently announced partnership with Google for Gemini models.
