AOKZOE Unveils A2 Ultra Handheld, Featuring Intel Core Ultra 7 CPU & Much More 1

AOKZOE has announced its new A2 Ultra gaming handheld, which is now debuting with none other than Intel's Core Ultra "Meteor Lake" CPUs.

AOKZOE's A2 Ultra Gaming Handheld Will Feature Team Blue's Core Ultra Magic, Slated For Launch By April 14

AOKZOE's previous handheld releases were solely based on AMD's Phoenix processors, and even the base A2 gaming console comes with the Ryzen 6000/7000 series APUs. However, considering the current state of markets and how Intel's Meteor Lake "Core Ultra" CPUs have started to gain traction among manufacturers, AOKZOE decided to step on the bandwagon, unveiling its new A2 Ultra handheld gaming console.

In the latest teaser uploaded by AOKZOE on the Chinese platform Weibo, the company revealed that their upcoming handheld, the A2 Ultra, will feature Intel's Core Ultra 7 SoC. Still, the firm hasn't revealed the specific SKU to be featured.

Based on industry trends, the included processor could either be Intel's Core Ultra 7 155H or any other higher variants in the series. Still, the 155H will likely be the preferred option here because we already saw the CPU's debut in MSI's Claw handheld. Moreover, this shows that Intel's Meteor Lake lineup will give tough competition to AMD's Phoenix and even the Hawk Point APUs going into the future since the generational leaps are phenomenal.

Fortunately, AOKZOE also has 3DMark test results with their A2 Ultra handheld device, which obtained an overall score of 4,169 points while operating at 35W of TDP, which does put the handheld ahead of its nearest counterparts. In other details, the handheld comes with an elegant white design, with accents of black on the onboard buttons, along with RGB-lit joysticks as well to provide a nice touch.

In terms of the release date and pricing of the AOKZOE A2 Ultra, we can see the handheld debut in regional markets by April 14th, although there is no word on the price, we can see it near to what the MSI Claw is going for, which is US $699.
