The competition in the OLED segment has become fierce, and we see monitor makers now competing for high refresh rate displays that also bring the latest generation of OLED panels from popular vendors such as LG and Samsung. AOC, known for its affordable gaming monitors, has today debuted its first AGON 7 display with the next-generation Tandem WOLED panel.

The display is called AGON PRO AGP277QKDC, which offers a 26.5" display size and is the first to combine the Dual Frame Mode (DFM) with the next-gen Tandem WOLED technology. The monitor is a new step for the AGON 7 series, which brings competitive features for enthusiasts, including the 4th-gen Tandem WOLED that is designed to deliver up to 1,500 nits of peak brightness and provides a reliable structure for durability.

The AGP277QKDC represents a milestone for AGON PRO on two fronts. On the technology side, WOLED at 540 Hz pushes OLED gaming speed into new territory, and Dual Frame Mode gives competitive players the option to go even faster at 720 Hz. On the design side, the new AGON 7 aesthetic is something we have been working on for a long time. The symmetric stand, frameless construction, integrated cable management and features like the pop-out headset holder reflect how seriously we take the full desk experience,"

This monitor boasts a dual-mode configuration and can switch between QHD@540Hz and HD@720Hz to deliver either an immersive or competitive gaming experience. QHD@540Hz is fit for both, but for enthusiasts who want smoother performance can downgrade to HD resolution with a blazing fast 720 Hz refresh rate.

The monitor offers a wide color gamut, including 99.5% DCI-P3 color space, and offers a true 10-bit color depth for reproducing 1.07 billion colors. The display is also VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certified for bringing vivid image quality and offers modern connectivity that can handle high resolution and high refresh rates, such as the latest DisplayPort 2.1 UHBR 20 and HDMI 2.1. There is a single USB-C port that supports Alt DP mode and 65W PD for charging devices. Plus, a KVM switch is deployed for controlling two PCs with the same set of peripherals.

The AGON PRO AGP277QKDC will be available from September 2026 and will launch at 699 Euros.
