The new Adrenalin Edition version 26.1.1 brings an "optional" AI Bundle, which can be utilized on compatible AMD hardware. The AI Bundle includes various tools like PyTorch on Windows, ComfyUI, Ollama, LM Studio, and Amuse, all of which serve different purposes, ranging from building and training local models to running LLMs locally for things like text generation, prototyping, and automation.

AMD says that the AI setup has always been hard, as it involves multiple steps, which aren't only time-consuming, but also bring hassles. The AI Bundle aims to simplify the procedure and install the complete tool suite that is optional in the new software. As you can see, the AI Bundle will take nearly 34 GB of disk space, but users can untick the option if they prefer to go with the conventional driver.

AMD says the AI Bundle is ideal for creators, developers, and even students who want to explore and learn about various AI workloads on their local hardware, and the tool suite will be compatible with the latest Radeon RX 9000 GPUs, as well as the RX 7700 series. Users can also run the AI Bundle on the Ryzen AI 300, Ryzen AI Max, and Ryzen AI 400 series processors, as they bring dedicated NPUs.

That said, the new version also adds support for the newly released Ryzen AI 400 series processors, which were unveiled at CES. The new lineup is a refresh of the existing Ryzen AI 300 series processors, based on Zen 5 architecture. Moreover, the software adds support for the upcoming game, Starsland Island, and also adds support for From the Ashes Edition for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
