AMD has separated the GCN drivers from the mainstream RDNA ones with this driver update. GCN represents last-gen GPU models within the company's portfolio for those unaware. The reason behind this hasn't been disclosed yet, but it is a step towards "prioritizing" next-gen development; hence, it indicates that GCN drivers may receive fewer updates compared to the mainstream GPUs in the future.
