AMD has a new AGESA 1.2.0.3C BIOS patch that addresses a major "Ryzen 9000" CPU vulnerability discovered by Google, affecting AM5 platforms.

It's been a while since we last saw a major AGESA patch being rolled out by AMD, which should be no surprise given the fact that all major Ryzen 9000 CPUs are out on the market now and the AM5 platforms, including 600 and 800-series motherboards, are in great shape in terms of optimizations and performance.

With that said, it looks like AMD did work on a brand new AGESA Patch, which is now being rolled out. This new BIOS patch is called AGESA ComboAM5PI 1.2.0.3C, and it aims to address the "AMD Microcode Signature Verification Vulnerability," which was discovered by researchers at Google. It is mentioned that the patch offers a security update for the Ryzen 9000 CPUs, which are affected by this vulnerability.

Over on the MSI Support page, we can find various 800 series and 600 series motherboards that have already received the BIOS patch.
