The new low-profile coolers leave more clearance without compromising on thermal performance.
Akasa Debuts VIPER, SOHO, and ALUCIA Low-Profile Coolers, Offering Cooling Capacity of 150-165W
Cooler and accessory manufacturer, Akasa, debuted its new lineup of high-performance low-profile coolers, introducing its flagship cooling solutions for the latest Intel and AMD platforms. There are four models launched under three different lineups with various color options. These coolers are compatible with the latest LGA 1851 and AM5 platforms as well as with older sockets like LGA 1700, LGA 1200, LGA 115X, and AM4.
The flagship low-profile cooler is the VIPER H6L M2, which measures 76 mm tall and offers cooling capacity of up to 165W. So, essentially, it's designed for powerful mid-range as well as some high-end CPUs that are deployed into small form-factor chassis with very little clearance. It's available in both black and white colors and uses a 120mm PWM silent fan with S-Flow blade design that throws a staggering 83.63 CFM of airflow.
The second one is the SOHO H6L M2, which is also a high-performance cooler, designed with RGB lighting for better aesthetics. IT's rated at 160W TDP and is 1.6 mm taller than the VIPER cooler. Available in both white (Dawn) and black (Dusk) colors, the SOHO H6L M2 utilizes a vibrant 120m aRGB fan, controllable via popular motherboard RGB software.
Then we have the ALUCIA lineup, featuring two different coolers, each one offered in two different color variants. The heatsink on these appears identical to both the VIPER and SOHO coolers, featuring six copper heat pipes for faster heat dissipation, but we have a very slim 120 mm fan on the ALUCIA H6LS M2, which reduces the cooler height to just 67.2 mm. It's a Hadal fan, which is available in both black and photic blue colors. It's rated at 150W, but the second variant, ALUCIA H6L M2, is rated at 160W and features a standard photic blue/black 120 mm fan.
All these low-profile coolers have been launched in multiple regions, including Europe, North America, and Asia, though pricing has not yet been disclosed.
