Predator Gaming has hinted at its upcoming gaming laptops and possibly new handhelds based on Intel's Lunar Lake in a new teaser.

Acer Predator is probably working on its own gaming handheld and a new gaming laptop

It looks like the gaming handheld market is going to see fierce competition this year. Since the launch of Steam Deck, many hardware manufacturers have come up with their own handheld with exciting prices and specifications. Seems like Acer is about to launch its first gaming handheld as it appears from the recently uploaded teaser video.

The 'Predator Gaming' account on X posted a 10-second teaser on 1st September, announcing that it is going to introduce its newest gaming gear on 04/09/2024, which is tomorrow. The teaser video shows a light-blue overlay on what looks like a gaming laptop but this isn't the only thing that appears in the video.

If you observe closely, something like a handheld appears on the left with half of its structure overlapping the laptop and half on the background. It doesn't look like anything like a keyboard, mouse, controller, or any other gaming peripheral for sure, and resembles modern gaming handhelds. This could mean Acer is developing its gaming handheld console for its customers apart from a Predator high-end gaming laptop.

That said the Predator Gaming account also followed up with another 10-second teaser video on 2nd September, posting

The video shows a blue shadow of a desktop chassis, indicating that Acer is also preparing to launch a Predator Gaming desktop on the same day. A few days ago it also posted about the IFA event it is participating in, which is going to be held on 4th September. The post gives us a sneak peek at the upcoming Acer AI products, which will be powered by Intel Core Ultra Processors. The dedicated page provides us with more info but there isn't much about the teased Predator Gaming products.

However, the Predator Gaming laptop, desktop, and gaming handheld will be showcased at IFA Berlin. This is after the day Intel launches its Lunar Lake mobile processors and it's likely that all the new Predator Gaming products, including the upcoming handheld, will be powered by the Core Ultra 200V processors, featuring Intel Battlemage Xe2 graphics, which are making an official debut in just a few hours from now.
